Carbon Dots with Up-Conversion Luminescence as pH Nanosensor

چکیده

In this study, the up-conversion luminescence for aqueous suspensions of carbon dots with polyfunctional and carboxylated surfaces synthesized by a hydrothermal method was investigated. The obtained quadratic dependence intensity on power exciting radiation indicates that these is caused two-photon absorption. optimal wavelength determined studied samples. dependences signal pH value suspension were obtained. It shown can be used as nanosensor liquid media in wide range values. advantage excitation does not entail autoluminescence biological medium. expands possibilities using sensor biomedical applications.

Enhancing the luminescence of carbon dots with a reduction pathway.

Blue luminescent reduced state carbon dots were prepared by reducing carbon dots with NaBH(4). The quantum yield of the reduced state carbon dots increased from 2% to 24% and the maximum emission wavelength shifted from 520 to 450 nm.
